Review of Alive (1993) by Hannah D — 24 Aug 2013
The entire film is set in the snowy Andes Mountains, so it's highly atmospheric. Knowing this is a true story makes it harrowing to watch, and when they are forced to resort to eating the flesh from the dead bodies, it turns your stomach.
If this was pure fiction, I would have found it rather unrealistic that they managed to survive in such circumstances for over two months...
