Review of Alive (1993) by Kyle N — 18 Jun 2013
Unafraid to be unsettling, unnerving and even a little disgusting, Frank Marshall's historical drama about the Andes Plane Crash of 1972 and the fate of its survivors benefits from superb acting from its youthful cast, a restrained yet pungeant score from James Newton Howard and a visceral edge that doesn't shy away from the darker, more disturbing side of this story or the people in it.
