Review of Alita: Battle Angel (2019) by Jamessparkes — 27 Feb 2019

Everything and more than what I had ever expected after years and years of waiting for this movie to finally become a reality it blows me away with a feeling I have long since forgotten after coming out of a movie theatre. It is just such an enjoyable and exhilarating film with a plot that actually makes sense,a fascinating world, great characters with understandable motivations.

It takes everything you would expect from the manga and anime but tweaks it and mixes it up into a more streamlined and western story which I prefer in some parts. The only thing I wish they had kept was more of the humour, blood and gore but it's totally understandable why they toned it down.
