Review of Aliens (1986) by Lachlan D — 20 Oct 2013
I have to disagree with Gene Siskel. One of the most confronting experiences I've ever had watching a film was the opening of Saving Private Ryan. I felt sick to my stomach and I was absolutely disgusted by what was occurring on the screen.
Saving Private Ryan is also one of my favorite films of all time. You don't watch films to be entertained, you watch them for the experience. Sure you may not enjoy watching people get killed, you're not suppose to in any horror movie for that matter.
