Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Brent K — 29 Dec 2010
Made in 1997,200 years after the events of Alien 3,a scientific experimentation sees Ripley being Cloned, her dna is mixed with Xenomorph dna and she's quite a powerful being,on the space vessel she is on they are also experimenting with the Aliens, however the Aliens escape captivity and its up to Clone Ripley and a bunch of mismatched Space pirates to kill them all.
This is deffinetly a huge let down,i never thought it was a good idea to have a Ripley Clone (she isnt Ripley) and she comes off quite annoying as Super Ripley, other annoying characters include Winona Ryder and a midget in a wheelchair,i dont find this film to be entertaining at all,if anything its stupid and the end scene with the Half human Alien is unintentionally hilarious, this movie is a tragic end to the Alien series, such a shame as the first three flms I really like.
