I'm being generous with the one star rating as this movie only has one decent scene within it, the water diving scene. Other than that, this movie's performances, particularly from Winona Ryder, are laughable, misguided and seemingly lack effort.
Although, the movies worst attributes are not the performances, but the direction and narrative. The direction lead the film to be tonally inconsistent and unconventional, and the narrative is dull, and is undeniably similar to the other films in the franchise.
The flaws in this film, hold it back from even being subpar. DO NOT WATCH IT!
