Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Evan K — 04 Aug 2017
The movie never really knows or decides if it wants to be more "philosophically" based like 'Prometheus' or be a straight-up action movie like 'Aliens,' and it suffers greatly for it.
If anything it leans on the former side more, but is undone by its more schlocky, action-y side. It's still fine enough, I just wish it was a bit more defined.
