Quite possibly the worst sci-fi movie I've ever seen. The stupidity of these "Scientists" is almost unbelievable. Not only do characters make dumb decisions like in Prometheus, but they somehow manage to do even worse.
I'll be honest with everyone; I was expecting this movie to be an apology for the previous film, my expectations went down the drain when James Franco got killed off in the first 10 minutes. When I left the theater with my family, everyone hated it.
Alien Covenant is the worst Ridley Scott film, and the final nail in the coffin for the Alien franchise. What shocks me even more is how it has such a high Critic score on the site which makes me believe another version was shown to critics.
In conclusion; don't ever see this movie. If it's on TV, change the channel. If someone gives you it as a gift, throw that **** right in the garbage (possibly reimburse your friend or family member).
