Well made by Ridley Scott, naturally. But as a fan of the series, not sure why we need these prequels. Has some interesting ideas, but isn't nearly as smart as it thinks it is. I feel like I saw it when I saw "Life.
" And unlike"Aliens" - which is one of my favorite films of all time, the characters are so dumb. Ripley and her gang of Marines were smart. Outside of the requisite bright female protagonist, these characters are not.
Lowers the overall intelligence of the film.
