Review of Alice in Wonderland (1951) by Douglas E — 06 Oct 2010
One of my all time favorite films based after one of my all time favorite books. This movie takes the best parts of "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" and the results are a brightly animated and surreal trip that is un Disney like and all the better for it.
For 1951 the animation is amazing. Also the Cheshir Cat is one of my all time favorite Disney characters. You never know if he gonna help Alice or stab her in the back and that makes him unpredictable and mesmorizing!
