Review of Ali (2012) by Matt V — 12 Feb 2011
A very interesting look at Muhammad Ali. Will Smith carries the film with a very strong performance along with a shockingly underrated performance from Jamie Foxx and a great supporting cast. Michael Mann does a great directing job with this film, he knows how to look at the multiple angles this man displays.
However, I felt the film left lots of important stuff out and it jumped too quickly from one year to the next. But still, Ali shows the interesting life of Muhammad Ali very well.
