Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) by Matt V — 10 May 2014
To me this completely capitalized on the entire horror remake movement that has cascaded over the past 10-15 years. It is effective, decently thought out, and offers a few more different perspectives than the original film.
Leatherface is as demented as ever, R. Lee Ermey is quite possibly the actual true villain of the tale, and the majority of the actors playing the kids are actually decent (Specifically Jessica and Jonathan).
Overall if you're looking for a good time with a modern-day slasher film look no further than the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
