Review of Insidious: The Last Key (2018) by Matt V — 05 Jan 2018

While not better than the original, "The Last Key" is certainly better than the 3rd entry and just as good if not better than the 2nd entry. It gives us everything we wanted to know about Elise's past and makes that past the main storyline instead of forcing it into a different story.

All the while it comes full circle back to the original while ending with a tease of a battle fans of the franchise have been waiting for since the first film: the red face demon. Expect a fifth (and probably final) film to be announced shortly after the opening weekend.

Definitely a movie worth checking out. Pays off big time for fans who have been watching since the beginning.
