Review of Alexander (2004) by Nerine D — 29 Dec 2012
Watched this as part of my reading of Mary Renault's 'The Persian Boy'. I'll be upfront and say I don't think this film will be to everyone's taste. It's completely overblown and ponderous under it's own weight of heroic qualities but for what it is, it's a work of art in the old style of epic films, and for that I absolutely adore it.
