Review of Albert Nobbs (2011) by Anatoly S — 12 Feb 2012

Interesting premise, but not that interesting of a movie. Glenn Close and Janet McTeer are both fantastic (although not for a second did I believe that McTeer was a man) and the rest of the cast is great as well, but the movie never really delivers on emotional level.

Yes, it's a sad story and there's plenty of self-conflict that Albert is thrown into, but overall it just doesn't come together. CHECK IT OUT for performances and a couple of really great scenes.
