Review of Albert Nobbs (2011) by Alex F — 30 Nov 2014
If there's something good in this nice, small but decent made period film, about lesbianism during the Victorian era, is the amazing performance of Glenn Close. Just her wide range of facial expressions is a master work.
A wonderful actress. The cinematography (by Michael McDonough) is very good, especially the exquisite lightning of the interiors.
