Review of After the Wedding (2006) by Lupus D — 09 Nov 2007
Sidse Babett Knudsen really reminds me of Laura Linney! Anyway, this was quite alright - stopped short of being a full-blown character study. The texture is rough but the acting is remarkable. Pramod needs to be signed soon! While various issues and its corresponding solutions are explored in the film, it decidedly avoided an opinion and ended up feeling like a half-hearted look into the fates of a few people.
The movie's tagline reads - champagne is poured, secrets are spilled. After The Wedding is also poured - but the spilling was never coming.
