Review of After Life (1999) by An N — 22 Jan 2009
The premise is interesting and gets developed fully. Unlike a lot of Japanese dramas I've seen, this one does not leave you hanging with an unexpected credits roll. It does not try to be overly poetic or even begin to get preachy.
It's a very humanistic experience and even quirky at times.
