Review of After Hours (1985) by Tristan F — 02 Sep 2007
Another film that takes place over one night, but it is also a film where everything that can go wrong for the unlucky protagonist will go wrong. "I just wanted to go out and meet a nice girl... Does that mean I have to die for it?" Griffin Dunne is hilarious as the bored office drone who is trapped in SoHo by some sort of weird cosmic conspiracy.
A Martin Scorsese comedy, which means the laughs are tense and the style is in your face.
