Review of After Hours (1985) by Itai B — 26 Nov 2011
One of Scorsese's best. A great existential comedy/ nightmare about being punished by the modern world. Dunne is great as a lonely worker who tries having a late night date only to have everything go wrong--and then some.
It would make a great double feature with Eyes Wide Shut since both films convey a surrealism about sexual frustration and entrapment in one's own life.
