Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Ben D — 09 Apr 2010
Aeon Flux is based off of the amine series of the same name and for being an action film that is only made to showcase special effects, I have to say the effects are weak. The "story" is set 400 years in the future after 99% of the world's population has been wiped out by a disease, Theron plays superagent Flux and her mission is to take down the leader.
The start of the film may have the viewers pleased, but as the story develops and the holes get larger you will see through the stupidity. If you want to watch Theron jump around in Spandex for 90 minutes and maybe lose some brain cells in the process knock yourself out.
