Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Jess H — 30 May 2010
Filled with oddities this movie has it's mind-bending moments but overall it is just wishing it was half as good as ULTRAVIOLET. I always think it is odd when they try to make a movie out of an animated series where the main character dies at the end of every single episode.
Frances McDormand fans will be disappointed with her stiff and un-inspired role and Sophie Okonedo fans will be disappointed that she has hands for feet. Overall director Karyn Kusama did what she could with the material but that is what you get when you make a movie based off a cult classic that in all honesty sucked.
