I recently stumbled upon a new science fiction movie, Advantageous. Science fiction is a difficult genre to film. But, Advantageous blew me away. It is a very intelligent, well written script with a new twist on what the future holds for women.
It was a fascinating look at a not so distant future. There were just enough elements that lent itself to the futuristic atmosphere of the film while grounding itself in a not so different world from today.
This only added to the intensity of film. The cast effortlessly carried out the superbly written script. All the actors in the film were fantastic and well cast. It was also nice to see a film with strong female leads and diversity in casting, something we have all been waiting for! Again, this film is a fantastic, intelligent, and innovative film that is a delight to watch!
