Review of Adulthood (2008) by Scott P — 25 Oct 2008
Disturbing movie about Englands ghetto kids and how one action can change many lives. Adulthoods strongest point is the lead actor who is putting out almost touchable aura of toughness, yet he is easy to relate to and you cannot but feel symphaty for him.
The plot is rather simple but it works thanks to very convincing acting by the whole cast. If there is something wrong in Adulthood, it is the fact that the movie really does not explain the strong circle of vengeance which the lead character tries to brake free from.
Still the movie is highly entertaining, definetly the best English "gang" movie I have seen.
