Review of Adulthood (2008) by Tim W — 10 Sep 2013

I personally just couldn't get into it. I found the script poorly written, the acting was even worse and the "storyline" was very loose to say the least. I'm aware that many people highly rates these films for their "gritty realism" and I will admit more than likely many teenagers lives will resemble those portrayed within the film, however in saying that I do believe that the majority of the characters and character's actions are very over-the-top stereotypical youths things.

Seeing that I have never moved or been involved with groups like this I couldn't connect to any of the characters or situations, however other viewers who have had similar experiences or live in the similar lifestyles showcased will find this entertaining.
