Review of Adoration (2013) by Steve P — 25 Nov 2013
Alias TWO MOTHERS directed by Anne Fontaine (COCO AVANT CHANEL, LA FILLE DE MONACO, NOUVELLE CHANCE, NETTOYAGE A SEC, etc), starring inarguable two of the most delicate contemporary actresses- Naomi Watts & Robin Wright. A story of tangling strange relationships- from intimate sisterhood to twisting Oedipus Complexes.
Both Watts & Wright are good as always; even Xavier Samuel & James Frecheville are convincing in their roles too. Only the story somehow is insufficient offering them bigger rooms for development.
Still, fairly average enough.
