Adore is a sexual drama about two best friends/mothers who have affairs with each other's sons. The creepiest thing is they've know these men since they were babies....
So yeah, it's just too hard to appreciate this movie. It's nicely acted and gorgeously filmed by Anne Fontaine, but its plot is too unbelievable. It would have been so much better to just have one of the mothers have an affair with the son, but both? BOTH?! This just turns into a depressing drama about really fu**ed up people.
