Pleasant enough to watch, beautiful beaches and beautiful people, and an interesting story that was probably fascinating and thought-provoking in Lessing's short version, but kind of droned on predictably for too long an excuse to stare at the aforementioned beautiful beaches and beautiful people, until just as you think the denouement has been denoued, it spins off into some last-minute twists which are a bit jarring given the change in the rhythm.
