Review of Adoration (2013) by Jake Z — 12 Mar 2014
One of the most awkwardly, unpleasant times I've had watching a movie but in a good way.
This sleazy experience is not for the faint of heart. it's about two women and a love they have for each others siblings. Awe inspiring with the boundaries Fontaine takes with Watts and Wright.
The actresses together have tight chemistry they compliment each other well and share strong dialogue scenes. The supporting could've been better but the performances is what carries this film.
I liked this sexual trip because scene after scene the cinematography sets the mood with countless shots of the beach. Balancing that with emotionally driving performances from the lead ladies (watts, wright) the environment is erotic and touching at the same time.
This movie by end has some eye rolling moments, but has skill in it's writing, acting, and cinematography. Not highly recommended but worth a watch.
