Review of Address Unknown (2001) by Justin D — 23 Aug 2010
There are certain things about this film which aren't very good (for example some of the acting is rather poor), but overall it's an incredibly powerful piece of work. Once again, Kim Ki-Duk overcomes the problems of his films with a strikingly transcendent and poetical mise-en-scene.
Quite simply, Kim Ki-duk is a master of his craft, and this a harrowing example of poetic and thought-provoking cinema.
