Werner Herzog movies all feel somewhat like an uncomfortable drug withdrawal. Yet everyone is entitled to experiencing it for the sake of experiencing it. The main character is very scheming up to the last minute of the film.
And it just proves how once power is attained, it can lead to any person's downfall.
