Nicolas Cage proves why he's one of America's finest living actors. After seeing him snooze through so many brainless action flicks, it's refreshing reminders like this that help us remember just what a monumental talent he is.

We can't overlook the others in the cast, but this is Cage's show because he's portraying the guy who's writing the movie about the book that you're watching right now. Confused? Luckily, this is the kind of avant-garde film that seems to have been made for everybody who appreciates great cinema.

I love this film. Long live Nic Cage!
