Talk about a movie out of time. Great treatment of a worthy theme (even if the feminine revolution is long over). In 1949 this ma have needed to masquerade as a comedy, but the themes were no joke and the conclusions very important lessons for 2007: What is Law and should it bend? How does pride compromise vision? How does principle eradicate person? Great movie, still entertaining and informing.
