Review of Act of Valor (2012) by Richard G — 14 Jul 2012

I like this as an action flick but its pretty clear these real life navy seals never acted in there high school plays, and the plot is pretty transparent so no need for marlon Brando performances. It seems that other reviewers felt this was a propaganda film, I highly disagree getting your eye shot out and jumping on a live grenade does not get teenager to in list into the navy but then again this movie is geared to teenagers with it obvious reference to call of duty ( the director could have did away with the heavy breathing and screen turning red when a solider is hit).
