Review of Across 110th Street (1972) by Benji C — 05 Aug 2007
This is a strong commentary on the black community in Harlem, however it does very well to stay clear from some of the clichés of blaxploitation cinema.
Love the tension between Quinn and Kotto right up to the end.
Unlike some blaxploitation films, the violence is integral to the narrative not just for show.
Definately one to watch out for if you get the chance.
