Review of Absentia (2011) by Chillindylan G — 24 Oct 2014
Solid little horror/suspense flick with an easy story, steady pacing, and impressive acting. Wish they had investigated the "research findings" a little more to try and tie in some sort of "what" or "why", but this was a well-directed low budget film with some great build up scenes and good character development (for a horror movie). Good direction and camera-work beyond what you'd generally expect from an indie horror movie. I liked this better than any of the Paranormal Activity movies. Worth watching.
Grade = 6/10.
