Review of Absence of Malice (1981) by Brian B — 25 Aug 2009
The main flaw in the film is that the script asks the viewer to believe that Field would print not one but two stories that any ethical reporter or editor would have killed. Pollack's strength is handling actors and the film is carried by the excellent cast and Wilford Brimley steals the film in his only appearance.
