Review of Absence of Malice (1981) by Ratnakar S — 06 Jul 2013
Paul Newman is one actor, who can make even watching paint drying look exciting. And here he does just that, as a reclusive business man, who seeks to prove his innocence, when a newspaper article, implicates him in the disappearance of a union leader.
Sally Field, plays the ambitious reporter, for whom the article is a way up. Of course sooner or later, she is convinced of his innocence, and they fall in love. Watch it for Paul Newman, the man spells charisma.
