Review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) by Alain G — 06 Mar 2013
Finally gave this a look and wasn't completely offended by it, but I unfortunately wasn't blown away either. I dug some of the visuals, but then there was a lot of it that felt like too much CGI instead of allowing us to connect with the characters. When it looks too much like a video game I begin to tune out a bit, and what was up with Lincoln's weird super-strength and destroying trees and shit like that?
It's an okay time waster, but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to see it.
Rental? Cable?
