Review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) by Sam A — 22 Dec 2013
It's kind of funny how pretty much everyone that didn't hear about the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter started shitting on its film adaption. Most people believed it to be some silly B-movie approach from Hollywood but ironically its not is a dead serious movie that happens to have vampires and Abraham Lincoln also.
Timur Bekmambetov in my opinion is underrated director his visceral style of film making is amazing I really enjoyed wanted and night watch from him.But Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter is a special treat.
What I meant by serious was taking a ridiculous idea and going all out on it but using the timeline of Lincoln's life as a storyline map.All the actors to a fine job. Most of action and special effects sequences are put well together.
All I'm really saying is give this movie a chance.
