Review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) by Christian H — 15 Aug 2016

Not sure why this movie is getting so much flack. When you go into a movie called "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" what are you expecting? Daniel Day Lewis? (though im pretty sure he'd act the crap out of this version of Lincoln too) Bottom line, this is popcorn flick at its absolute finest.

Check your brain at the door and look forward to great exciting action sequences, solid cinematography, actually decent acting given the silly subject matter. This movie is clearly style over substance.

The only complaint is that it does take itself a bit too serious at times such as the halfway point. However if you can get past that, you are in for an exciting flick. A solid rental for action night.
