This is an excellent 80's film. Which shows how young love never runs smoothly. So many of us can relate to the falling in love and getting caught up in a whirlwind romance with friends that are not happy with being dropped.
We have all been there and done, you can relate to both sides of the story.... Being stood up by ur best mate for a guy/girl or falling in love and having tunnel vision only on that person! Edward Zwick tried hard to show the young side of life and I think he achieved it well! Rob Lowe is amazing gorgeous in it and Demi is lovely and sooo fresh faced.
... All time favourite film for me and I must have watched it over 200 times!!!!
