Review of Abduction (2011) by Karla G — 29 Oct 2012
If you like action movies or are a fan of Taylor Lautner, then Abduction is a fast-paced one for you. Itâ(TM)s about a teen boy named Nathan, played by Taylor Lautner, who finds a baby picture of him on a missing persons' website. As he investigates further, he finds out that his parents are not his biological parents, and they get killed, and the CIA and other strangers chase after him. If you want to unlock the mystery to why all of these astonishing events happen to Nathan in just a day, watch the movie to find out!
In the beginning of Abduction, the director films Nathanâ(TM)s regular life, and then quickly transitions to a suspenseful action movie. Itâ(TM)s exciting because scene after scene, Nathan constantly finds himself in the midst of another obstacle, and the visual aspects of the movie add to the excitement.
On the other hand, the storyline and script of the movie didnâ(TM)t exactly work out for me. Although the movie sends us a message to trust no one but yourself and close friends, some parts of the film didnâ(TM)t quite make sense to me.
I recommend this movie to teens 13 and up because there are intense fighting scenes, brief language, and other teenage behaviors that are not appropriate for kids.
