After watching this and Faces, I've a newfound respect for Gena Rowlands. Her performance in this film is just awe-inspiring. Peter Faulk deserves immeasurable commendation as well. His frustration induced rages are a large part of what makes this picture so powerful.
Everything about this masterful piece of cinema is phenomenal.
