One of my very favorites. Gena Rowlands is amazing in her performance, and Peter Falk is excellent too. Heartbreaking, fascinating, frustrating, and thought-provoking. Very real. I can relate to Nick and Mabel and understand them completely, and yet still want to smack them both at times.
An incredibly rich, though constantly painful and emotionally draining, experience.
