What a phenomenal movie! Clever cinematography gives one of the most memorable back-story sequences ever (The Carpenter). I love the way they integrate old time clips into the story and bring pictures to life.
It is also interwoven with perspective and imagination. Love and loyalty drives the mystery and unites the pieces as they surface. Perhaps most remarkable is how a seeming dead end fact can yield clues, ever so small, that change everything.
It also shows how people are interconnected to each other, even in passing and mundane details.
