I adore Jeunet's style. He creates a whimsical story through the backdrop of war. The war isn't made to look any less tragic but instead it focuses on the chaos of the war and the stories it left behind.
Tautou was brilliant and the supporting characters were intriguing and well acted. A stunning and quirky film but none the less moving.
