Review of A Thousand Clowns (1965) by Kayla K — 18 Jul 2008
This was my favorite film of the marathon.
The struggle for joie de vivre people to march at their own beat vs. conform is one of my favorite on screen struggles. Uncle Murray really struggles with this once his nephew is at risk of being taken away by CPS.
The dialog is brilliant ! I wish I could retort like Murray and Nick!
The end is almost heart breaking, yet one still has hope for the little family.
