Review of A Summer Place (1959) by James L — 08 Jun 2008
Based on the controversial book, this classic film has a hilarious dialogue, and Troy Donahue can't act whatsoever. But Sandra Dee, Richard Egan, Dorothy Mcguire, Arthur Kennedy, and Constance Ford rise above the absurdity of some of the written lines.
Landmark film that dealt with teenage sex and pregnancy. Constance Ford is the maniacal mother of Sandra Dee who hates sex and her husband.
