Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Matt K — 11 Feb 2009
An acting tour-de-force, the plot is a little slow, but it's an interesting journey. Marlon Brando finally showed me why he's considered such a great actor. Also the cinematography and the lighting in this film is masterful, I was constantly stunned by the compositions and shadows.
